Use the paid station name, not the Shanghai city label
Hongqiao, Shanghai Railway Station, Shanghai South, and Shanghai Songjiang serve different parts of the city. Confirm the full Chinese name before choosing the hotel transfer or asking a driver.

Match 上海站 or 上海南站 exactly
These are separate stations with different local routes. Do not shorten Shanghai South to Shanghai Station.
Plan a longer local handoff when the order says 上海松江站
Do not assume this hub is a central-city arrival. Check the complete route to the actual hotel before travel.
Save the complete English and Chinese names
Copy the live booking or operator wording. A city name alone is not a station, airport, terminal, entrance, or hotel address.

If the first plan fails

A saved exit or pickup level has changed
Follow current station signs and staffed directions. Reconfirm the signed taxi queue or metro entrance before leaving the building.
Save the full Chinese station name beside the paid order and hotel card. If the local route is unclear, ask at the staffed railway desk and use the signed queue at the station on the ticket.
